The movie is being produced by Blumhouse Productions, the company behind Get Out and Paranormal Activity.
The new movie will be set in modern-day Los Angeles, and will follow a group of black girls who are “tired of the limited opportunities and options that they face”.
According to Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse Productions, the new movie will be “a very, very scary witch movie”.
The Craft was released in 1996 and starred Neve Campbell, Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, and Rachel True.
The rebooted movie is scheduled to be released in 2020.

Will there be a 3rd movie for The Craft?

“I think that the thing that I’m most excited about is that we get to see where these girls are now. I think that the fans of the original movie want to know what happened to these characters. They were all so powerful and so amazing and so badass. And I think we get to see a little bit of that in this movie. I hope that the fans are happy with it. I think that we’re doing justice to the original movie and to the fans who loved it.”
